Brian Kap ell
Brian has been performing improvisational comedy since 1985, as one of the founding members of ComedySportz in Madison Wisconsin, led by Dick Chudnow. He helped establish and manage other theatre and improv companies around the US, including CSz-WDC, but the debate continues in political circles whether his long-term memory has been taken over by aliens. Getting people to laugh out loud is his favorite hobby, after he failed to get people to cry on-cue, which is his second favorite past-time. He is a great lover of cheese and the Clash, although he can´t figure out a way to convice the Sandanistas to eat cheddar. He has an old Harley named Roberta, a wife named Patricia, 2 sons named Benjamin and Philip and an invoice for services-rendered with your name on it, so pay up! He is the General Manager of Spirit Yoga, so that he can erase all karmic debts before his lease runs out. Buy him lunch sometime and he will tell you all about the different ways you can make your hair go gray.

Naomi Fearn
Naomi Fearn´s dayjob is cartoonist and illustrator. She draws a weekly newspaper strip for the Stuttgarter Zeitung called “Zuckerfisch”, manages to finish a new comicbook every other year and draws school book illustrations for children to doodle on. Naomi is half German and American and started improv to overcome a comic writers-block and to avoid thrombosis from being chained to the drawing table. So far, it´s worked splendidly.

Ve Magni
Ve comes from Los Angeles and studied improv at iO and Second City in Chicago before moving to Berlin and joining the Laugh O’s in the summer of 2008. She comes from an eccentrically diverse performance background, including theater, cabaret, rock music, drag revue, go-go dancing, professional wrestling, and clowning. She loves short-form improv for accepting and embracing her creative commitment issues.

Fingal Pollock
Fingal Pollock has recently reaccustomed herself to the world of knives, forks and toilet paper after an exhilarating (but not entirely too short) two years of travel and study in India, Nepal, China and Tibet. On embarking in Berlin on her way to that glorious land of ‘nowhereelsetogo’ she, along with her 2€ of disposable income was immediately seduced by the city and it’s decorative windows, cobbled streets and döner kebabs. Fortunately LaughOlympics saved her from hermitisation just before it started getting dark before she even woke up and provided she can keep her New Zealand accent at bay, is looking forward to a year of playing! |
