We had a wonderful “8″-week session this spring/summer (which turned into a 10-week session since we couldn’t fit all of the fun in the first 8 weeks), concluding with a fantastic show played by the workshoppers, now known as the ‘Prenzlauer Elephants’!

Currently we are offering the drop-in workshops every Tuesday night at Spirit, and will be returning to the Kook on Sunday afternoons in September. Our next 8-week session will begin October 12th, running on Monday evenings. We will then have both open (drop-in) and closed classes running simultaneously!

The difference between “open” and “closed” curriculum is that the “open”, or “drop-in”, classes cover a broad range of skills in a non-linear fashion with a different target skill every week, allowing each player to focus on his/her individual strengths and weaknesses. The “closed” curriculum has a long term structure of progressive, linear exercises designed to get a group голова болит секс голова болит секс

of players to a specific goal. While we do address teamwork and trust in the open classes, the brilliance of group chemistry will be explored more in the long-term program.

Both types of workshops will help you become the best improviser and performer that you can be, either alone or in a group. But don’t take my word for it–come try a class!

We’ve hop skipped and jumped between events, conferences, parties and shows over the past month! This latest Laugh Olympics fandango kicked off with a special show at Amerika Haus – the launch party for the “Wie waehlt Amerika American Psycho II: All American Girl move ” series of events there. We were then invited back to play to an audience of over 500 on election night and enjoyed ourselves with the institute of cultural diplomacy and people of Berlin. We weren’t able to hang around as long as we would have liked as we had another booking – so we dashed across town to the Babylon cinema for the all time greatest Democrats in Berlin party. Here we partied into the small hours until the final results were announced. And fast forward a few weeks to Sunday when we awoke bright and early (with only a few hours sleep after the late show at the Kookaburra) in order to strut our stuff at the Expolingua conference

at Russian House on Friedrichstrasse. Then after a few days it was our monthly Tuesday show again – where in the audience was Brighton’s very own BAFTA nominated Mark Brailsford, director/lead performer of The Treason Show The Tao of Steve move . And he loved the show!
We now have a few days rest (well, of course we’ll be training!) until Saturday’s show Cromwell Excalibur divx .

Every Saturday at 23:30
Third Tues every month at 20:30

Thanks to our good friend Kim Eustice (who hosts the English Comedy Night on first Tues every month) we have been head-hunted by The Kookaburra Comedy Club on Schönhauser Allee to take over the Saturday Night late show and the third Tuesday in every month. Here you will experience Laugh Olympics in luxurious surroundings with a bar that serves a plethora of alcoholic beverages (yes even spirits!) and more importantly FOOD!!! Yeah! And all this with your shoes ON! So join us every Saturday at 23:30 from 27th Sept.

Experience the thrill of comedy improvisation played like a sport in the atmospheric surroundings of Kookaburra Comedy Club. The talented performers come from a variety of English speaking countries including Canada, USA, New Zealand and England and are joined by a couple of home grown performers from the German impro scene. With their huge appetite for humour they provide audiences with a weekly dose of fun and laughter. Two teams compete every week for the cherished comedy cup acting out sketches and songs made up on the spot; and with the help of the referee the audience make the suggestions and vote for the funniest team.

“They jump and wiggle like dolphins, create George Clooney out of thin air, channel a twisted version of Fassbinder and whatever else the audience throws at them. With a deadpan referee and a crack team Laugh Olympics compete to make the audience giggle and guffaw – blessedly all in English – it’s a welcome choice of laughs.” download Aquarela do Brasil
